Whale Watching: Half Day

About the Experience

On the route of the great cetaceans and joyful dolphins, our half-day sea trips are a chance to meet and admire the marine mammals of the Azores in their natural habitat. Using strategically placed portholes technique on the south coast of the island, our boats depart to meet these unique animals, on a trip which is a mixture of fun, adventure, discovery and scientific knowledge. In a few hours, We provide you an unforgettable experience!

Not included: 

• Hotel pick-up and drop-off

Type of tour: Half day - 3 hours

Schedules and meeting points:

• 08:30 or 13:00 or 16:30 - Picos de Aventura (Briefing)
• 09:00 or 13:30 or 17:00 - Beginning of the activity at sea
• 11:30 or 16:00 or 19:30 - Arrival at Marina of Ponta Delgada and end of activity

Minimum equipment necessary:

• Comfortable shoes with rubber soles

Recommended Equipment:

• Windbreaker jacket, hat, water, sunscreen, proof bag (to keep the phone and/or the camer

Minimum age: N/A

• (until 18 years must be accompanied by parents or guardians, , or bring a written permission).

NOTES:

• The performance of the activities are subject to weather conditions and logistics.

* Please note that this activity is not recommended for people who suffer from back or hip problems. This is a smaller semi-rigid (rubber) boat, in which the water impact is more noticeable.

• The company may contact the client up to 1 day before in order to communicate any eventual alterations.
• In case it wasn't possible to contact the client, the alterations will be communicate when the client reaches the company's headquarters.
