A special company seems to follow along with us since the beginning of this route, always on the horizon. Sometimes we miss it, but suddenly it comes back to join us on our journey. We are obviously referring to Corvoi sland. But let’s not get distracted by the “neighbour”, once we have in Flores island a lot to admire, like watercourses that “try” to block our passage, and the singularities of a small village that used to be the resting place of workers, who managed to build their houses even with the strong winds. The landscape changes a little further ahead and we will see Rocha dos Bordões, a rock that seems to be cut in slices, more like a Sci-Fi movie. As we follow along we will find a dense forest, a typical landscape of this part of the island. We are now entering the village of Ponta Delgada, a place where the land is the main subsistence of the family.

Footwear suitable for hiking (boots), comfortable clothing, light jacket, extra t-shirt or sweater, food reinforcement, water, bathing suit, towel, backpack, sunscreen and hat.
