Flores Island welcomes you! Nestled in the heart of the Azores, Flores is often lauded as a natural masterpiece. This untouched Eden is brimming with breathtaking waterfalls that cascade into emerald pools, creating a spectacle that is both dazzling and enchanting.

Delight in a boat journey that promises glimpses of playful dolphins and views of Flores' picturesque coastline. Upon arrival in Corvo, enjoy complimentary transfers to Caldeirão, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable experience. (Lunch in Corvo not included)
This tour begins along the scenic northeast coast of Flores Island, where we’ll cruise at a leisurely pace, offering the perfect opportunity to spot seabirds, waterfalls, islets, and caves in this protected environmental reserve. We’ll then head toward the island of Corvo, where you may have the chance to see dolphins and, occasionally, even whales. The boat trip to Corvo Island takes approximately 45 minutes one way.
Upon arrival at Corvo Island, a taxi ride will take you to Caldeirão, located at the island’s summit. On the way, the driver will stop at a viewpoint where you can enjoy stunning views of the village of Corvo, with the island of Flores visible in the distance.
The transfer to Caldeirão is operated by Corvo Travel, departing and returning from Porto Marítimo. You’ll have around 15 minutes to explore Caldeirão before heading back to the harbor.
Once back in the village, take some time to explore on foot. Wander through the charming streets, visit local shops for souvenirs, or discover the environmental interpretation center to learn more about the island’s unique ecosystem.

We begin our tour along the northeast coast, with our first stop at the scenic Alagoa viewpoint and the parish of Cedros. Shortly after, we arrive in the charming parish of Ponta Ruíva, where, in addition to the stunning viewpoint overlooking the unique Ilhéu Furado, a visit to the Mr. Machado Museum awaits, offering delightful surprises.
As we near the northernmost point of the island, we'll catch sight of the parish of Ponta Delgada and, on clear days, even Corvo Island in the distance.
Continuing along the west coast, we'll take a short 1.2 km walk to visit the beautiful Poço da Ribeira do Ferreiro—an experience we assure you will be worth it. Our next stops will be the picturesque parish of Fajã Grande, the tranquil Poço do Bacalhau, and Ponta da Fajã.
We’ll finish our tour at the westernmost point of Europe, gazing out toward the United States with the Monchique Islet on the horizon.

This tour takes you through the heart of the island, crossing the central plateau where the stunning lakes await. Rest assured, we won’t miss any of the seven beautiful lakes that Flores Island is famous for.
To enhance your experience, we’ll also visit one of the island's most iconic landmarks, Rocha dos Bordões. For many years, this has been a key attraction for travelers to the western group of islands.
At this point in the tour, we’re halfway through, but there are still several breathtaking viewpoints to discover, including Craveiro Lopes, Portal, and Lajedo.
After taking in the views, we’ll visit one of the island’s most impressive rock formations, Filão dos Frades. You’ll have the chance to snap a photo and marvel at the sheer scale of this geological wonder.
No tour of the Azores would be complete without connecting the islands’ rich history to its whaling past. We’ll stop by the Whale Museum in the village of Lajes to explore this important part of the island’s heritage.

Your adventure begins with a visit to the pineapple greenhouses near Ponta Delgada, where you’ll learn about the unique cultivation process of the Azorean pineapple.
We’ll then head towards Sete Cidades, making stops at hidden crater lakes and enjoying sweeping views of the island. A short walk will lead us to the spectacular Boca do Inferno viewpoint, offering an unforgettable vista over the Sete Cidades caldera.
Next, we’ll visit the "King's View," the iconic Azores postcard spot, providing a perfect perspective of the main Sete Cidades lake.
Afterward, enjoy a delicious, authentic Azorean lunch before heading to the westernmost point of the island to admire the striking rocks of Mosteiros. We begin our journey from Ponta Delgada, driving along the charming south coast until we reach Senhora da Paz, a picturesque chapel perched on the mountainside, offering panoramic views over Vila Franca do Campo and its iconic islet.
Next, we head to Furnas, a town nestled within a volcanic crater, offering a wealth of natural wonders. In Furnas, you'll have the chance to immerse yourself in local life—whether you choose to bathe in the thermal springs (optional, not included), witness the fascinating geothermal activity, or even observe the famous "cozido" stew being dug from the volcanic soil.
In the afternoon, enjoy breathtaking views over Furnas Lake and the town before we continue eastward to Ribeira dos Caldeirões, home to a beautiful waterfall that is a must-see on São Miguel Island.
We'll return to Ponta Delgada along the scenic Northeast coast, making stops at stunning lookouts that offer panoramic views of the dramatic cliffs.
