Your adventure begins at the iconic Terra Nostra Park, a breathtaking 200-year-old botanical garden where you can soak in its famous thermal pools, surrounded by exotic flora. Don’t miss the chance to taste Furnas’ legendary "cozido"—a mouthwatering stew slow-cooked underground by volcanic heat!
After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll explore the Fumaroles of Furnas, where bubbling hot springs and steaming geysers create an otherworldly landscape. Then, take in sweeping views from the Pico do Ferro viewpoint, offering a stunning panorama of the volcanic crater below.
Next, we’ll visit Gorreana Tea Factory, Europe’s oldest (and only) tea plantation still using traditional methods. Walk through vibrant green fields and learn how tea has been produced here for over a century.
