Take the day to stroll around Ponta Delgada’s city streets. Ponta Delgada, the main city, is not only the hub of the island but the capital of the Azores. Ponta Delgada evokes all the charms of Europe with cobbled streets, sidewalk cafes, and a thriving culinary scene.

Take the opportunity to observe some of the dozens of cetacean species that are usually seen in the Azores. While nature is indeed wild and offers no guarantees, whales and dolphins are regularly seen during our half-day tours. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to observe turtles, birds, and other marine species.

Explore Sete Cidades caldera with stops at Pico do Carvão, Pico da Cruz, and Lomba do Vasco viewpoint. Visit Sete Cidades village and enjoy a scenic passage by the Peninsula before reaching the iconic Vista do Rei viewpoint. A captivating adventure awaits!

Enjoy stunning views from Serra da Água de Pau and Lagoa do Fogo viewpoints. Experience the beauty of the vividly colored blue lake. Relax in Caldeira Velha's thermal pool, surrounded by endemic flora and fauna. Visit the picturesque Salto do Cabrito waterfall and end the tour in the charming center of Ribeira Grande.

Indulge in a leisurely free day, savoring every moment until the time comes for the delightful farewell dinner.

*Dinner and transfer with your guide are only included with a minimum of 5 participants. If fewer than 5 join, the transfer will not be provided, and the guide will not accompany you during dinner. In this case, please arrive at 7 PM at Alcides restaurant or Cais da Sardinha restaurant (in Ponta Delgada). We’ll let you know which restaurant to go to closer to your departure date.
