This package includes moderate to active tours. The boat tours require minimal physical effort. The Mistérios Negros Hike is medium to hard difficulty with elevation and uneven terrain. The Nordeste Waterfalls Hike is medium difficulty. The Jeep & Kayak tour includes paddling. The Furnas tour is relaxed. You should be comfortable walking up to 4 hours and have basic fitness for kayaking and hiking. If you have mobility concerns, contact us to discuss modifications.

June through August offers the warmest weather (63-77°F) with long sunny days perfect for outdoor activities and ocean swimming. September to mid-October stays pleasant at 61-73°F with fewer crowds. Ocean temperatures are warmest July through September.
This package features "summerish hotels" specifically selected for their proximity to natural swimming areas, beaches, and ocean pools. These comfortable, well-located properties prioritize access to summer activities and coastal experiences rather than resort-style amenities.

Most tours include hotel pick-up and drop-off. The exception is the Ilhéus das Cabras Boat Tour in Terceira, which has a meeting point at Angra do Heroísmo Marina, Kiosk nº1. All other tours include convenient hotel pick-up.
Some tours include meals. In Terceira: Best of Terceira Island Tour includes lunch at a local restaurant, and Sunset Tour includes wine, cheese, and local snacks. In São Miguel: Furnas Hot Springs tour includes traditional Cozido dinner. The boat tours and hikes do not include meals, giving you flexibility to dine at your own pace.
If weather makes a tour unsafe, the operator will reschedule it for another day during your stay on that island. If rescheduling isn't possible, you'll receive a refund for that specific tour. Your trip manager will help coordinate alternatives and keep you informed throughout.
