This Azores Getaways package includes round-trip flights, 6 nights at either the Azores Book Hotel or Palácio de Santa Catarina (both 4-star) with daily breakfast, airport transfers, and three guided experiences: a full-day Terceira Island Tour, a half-day walking tour of UNESCO-listed Angra do Heroísmo, and a half-day Volcanic Experience exploring Terceira's geological highlights.

A rental car and city taxes are not included.

Round-trip flights are included in the package. Other departure cities are available on the calendar or on request. The package price depends on the selected airport.

Contact the Azores Getaways team before booking to discuss departure options. Seat selection, extra baggage, and cabin class upgrades are not included in the package price but can be arranged as paid add-ons, subject to availability.

No, this package does not include a rental car.

Since airport transfers are included and all guided experiences provide hotel pickup and drop-off, a car is not necessary to enjoy the included itinerary.

If you'd like additional flexibility during your free days, you can always rent a car separately.

Yes. Both Azores Book Hotel and Palácio de Santa Catarina offer parking for guests.

If you decide to rent a car during your stay, you'll be able to park at your hotel, making it easy to explore Terceira independently during your free time. Although a rental car is not necessary for the included itinerary, as airport transfers and hotel pickup are included for all experiences, renting one gives you extra flexibility to explore more of Terceira during your free time.

Both hotels offer an excellent base for discovering Terceira.

• Summer (June to September): warm temperatures between 20–26°C (68–79°F) and ideal conditions for sightseeing, hiking, and festivals.

• Winter: generally mild, around 14–18°C (57–64°F), although weather can change quickly - as locals often say, you may experience all four seasons in one day.
