The islands we visited: Pico, Terceira and Sao Miguel were all stunning in their own way. Our days on each island were filled with interesting sights and experiences. The hotels assigned to us were wonderful. They were always spotless and comfortable and two out of three were also wonderfully unique (My Bed in Pico, and The Book Hotel). We felt welcomed and safe everywhere we went and all check-ins and rentals went very smoothly. Even a flight cancellation between two islands ended up being fun, with immediate provision of vouchers for taxis, hotel and meals and re-booking.
