About the Experience

lhéus das Cabras are a protected area within Terceira’s Natural Park. A volcano which became the largest islets from the Azores and nesting ground area for several seabirds, as the Cory’s Shearwater, Common Tern and Roseate Tern.

The trip starts as we head out to southeast and look for marine wildlife, as well giving the opportunity to see a stunning offshore view of Terceira Island. Once we get close to the islets, information about the history, geology and species of the surrounding area will be shared as we continue the tour.  During our way back we follow an inshore route, showing the variety of volcanic structures that form the cliffs of the Island’s shoreline.
