Next stop, Paul da Serra, Madeira’s most extensive plateau with approximately 24km2, surrounded by a luxuriant nature. If there exists a magical place in Madeira, it’s definitely Fanal, here we can observe the famous Laurissilva Forest, considered in 1999 by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. In winter because of the volcanic crater you can see the most beautiful natural lagoons. Before arriving to Porto Moniz, we will stop in Ribeira da Janela viewpoint, with beautiful views over the north coast of Madeira.

Our next stop is in Porto Moniz, one of the best known and visited cities in Madeira, being the volcanic rock swimming pools its main attraction.
