About the Experience

We want to take you inside a time machine and arrive back a few centuries ago, as our first stop is former roman town of Évora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, with roman, Visigoth, Muslim and Portuguese influence.

In Évora history cross paths with us in every corner, in this big puzzle of historical monuments with more than 1000 years old. The walking tour starts at São Francisco church and the Bones Chapes, one of the must see places in Évora.

Heading next to the medieval heart of the city where the Cathedral (the biggest in Portugal) can be found but also some antique testimonials like, Roman Temple and the Roman baths.

There will also be a stop at the medieval town of Arraiolos, famous for the carpets, olive oil and chicken patties. We propose a visit to CITA (Arraiolos Tapestry Museum), a local products tasting and a visit to the town’s old medieval castle.
