One of the most popular attractions on Terceira Island, the spectacular Serra do Cume is actually the result of a volcanic eruption. This flat "patchwork" plain was once a volcanic crater, and is now a large stretch of vibrant green pasture land divided by basalt rock walls.

Not only are they beautiful to see up close, but you’ll also be treated to some spectacular views of the island’s coastline from the boat.
