About the Experience
Partake in the Pousada Hotel's weekly Fado night where you can enjoy live folk music with local fadistas and musicians, and a menu that includes a selection of fish and meat entrees, dessert and quality wines.
Set atop a cliff, the Pousada de Angra do Heroísmo Castelo de S. Sebastião is a modern hotel with amazing ocean views housed in a 16th century fortress known as Castelinho de São Sebastião (St. Sebastian's "Little Castle").
The Pousada is centrally located in the historical center of Angra do Heroísmo, which was classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983. In 1534, Angra do Heroísmo became the first settlement of the Azores to be elevated to city status and remained an important seaport between the 15th and 19th centuries. Guests can enjoy the regional cuisine at the hotel’s Restaurant Castelinho while taking in views of the sea and pool area.
